TCM Volunteer Speaker Program
We appreciate the energy short-term workers have expended through prayer and hard work.
The Development Team seeks your assistance. Since short-term workers have seen TCM’s ministry from the inside, and have met the very people who receive leadership training, who better to share about the experience of serving and about TCM's ministry and vision. We seek former short-term workers and others like them who have a heart for TCM to donate time and energy on behalf of TCM. Volunteering may take one to two days of your time per year depending upon your desire to help and the distance you are willing to travel. Here are some ways volunteers can help:
- Represent TCM at a church by being at a display to hand out TCM materials and possibly answer questions about TCM’s ministry. TCM volunteers may be introduced in a service as a TCM representative.
- Share your experiences at Haus Edelweiss with a Sunday-school class or group of classes.
- Give a specific report to update a missions team about TCM’s ministry.
It would be very difficult to staff our office with enough individuals to meet these new challenges. However, with volunteer help we can begin spreading the TCM story to more people. We will provide volunteers with the information needed to share during the speaking engagement. We will also send volunteers a special insider monthly update to keep you closely connected with TCM.
If you have been a short-term worker for TCM and desire to be a volunteer speaker, please contact Debbie Poer either by phone (317.299.0333) or e-mail (debbie.poer@tcmi.org).
