Vienna Routes to Haus Edelweiss (Heiligenkreuz)

As a way to facilitate the high volume of transportation needs, TCM asks as many people as possible (e.g., students, volunteers, guests, etc.) to make their way from Vienna to various meeting (pick-up) locations near or in Heiligenkreuz (Haus Edelweiss).  The following information is available for this purpose:

Meeting (Pick-up) Locations

If you need to be picked-up at Siebenhirten, Baden, or Heiligenkreuz, please call tel. 02258. 8727 once you arrive in Vienna.  This will give a TCM driver enough time to meet you at the selected location.

ARRIVAL via TRAIN

From West Train Station (Westbahnhof)

• Take Westbahnhof subway (U-6 - brown line) to Siebenhirten subway station (pick-up)
• Take Siebenhirten bus to Mödling bus station
• Take Mödling bus to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

South Train Station (Südbahnhof)

• Take express train (red double-deck, called Wiesel) to Baden train station (pick-up)
• Take the Baden bus (go to arrivals curb) to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

From Wien Mitte Train Station (City Airport Terminal)

• Take Wien Mitte subway (U-4 - green line) to Längenfeldgasse subway station 
• Take Längenfeldgasse subway (U-6 - brown line) to Siebenhirten subway station (pick-up)
• Take Siebenhirten bus to Mödling bus station
• Take Mödling bus to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

From Erdberg Bus Station

• Take Erdberg subway (U-3 - orange line) to Westbahnhof subway station
• Take Westbahnhof subway (U-6 - brown line) to Siebenhirten subway station (pick-up)
• Take Siebenhirten bus to Mödling bus station
• Take Mödling bus to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

ARRIVAL via the AIRPORT

From Airport (by car)
(Approximate drive time without heavy traffic is 30 minutes.)

• Depart the airport complex on the A4 autobahn toward Vienna (WIEN). 
• Drive a short distance on the A4 and then take the S1 autobahn toward LINZ (the S1 is the second interchange on the A4 after you depart the airport). 
• Take the S1 to the A21 autobahn and continue toward LINZ. 
• Drive on the A21 for 10-13 km to the HEILIGENKREUZ exit.  Exit the A21 autobahn and follow the signs to HEILIGENKREUZ. 
• In HEILIGENKREUZ you will follow the sign to BADEN (this is a left turn onto the road in front of the SHELL gas station). 
• After the left turn toward BADEN you will go approximately 1,5 km to HAUS EDELWEISS.

From Airport (Option 1)

• Take CAT (City Airport Terminal) to Wien Mitte
• Take Wien Mitte subway (U-4 - green line) to Längenfeldgasse subway station 
• Take Längenfeldgasse subway (U-6 - brown line) to Siebenhirten station (pick-up)
• Take Siebenhirten bus to Mödling bus station
• Take Mödling bus to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

From Airport (Option 2)

• Take Airportbus (go to arrivals curb) to South train station (Südbahnhof)
• Take Südbahnhof train (red double-deck, called Wiesel) to Baden train station (pick-up)
• Take the Baden bus (go to arrivals curb) to Heiligenkreuz bus station (pick-up)

• Take Airport train to South train station (Südbahnhof)
• Take Südbahnhof train to Meidling train station
• Take Meidling subway (U-6 - brown line) to Siebenhirten subway station (pick-up)
