As Chief Executive Officer and President of TCM, I serve in three interrelated areas. About one third of my time is invested in development, public relations, and fundraising. Another third is devoted to administration, teaching, writing, and research. The rest of my time is taken up by providing leadership, planning, and attention to personnel.
For TCM, I serve as Professor of Leadership and Spiritual Formation. My academic preparation included: B.A. Milligan College; M.Div., Emmanuel School of Religion; D.Min., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Ph.D., Indiana University.
I was born in Texas and raised in Dallas and Alice Springs, Australia. I'm also a voting member of the Cherokee Tribe. My great-grandfather was a young boy in the Trail of Tears. Suzanne and I were married December, 1975. She has served with me in churches in Virginia, Tenessee, and Indiana as well as serving in various capacities with TCM.
My work with TCM began in late 1989, and I have never been more passionate about what God is doing through the ministry than I am today!
North American Vice President
After developing (by God’s grace!) a successful real estate practice in Indianapolis, I thought,”This is it, I’ll do this for the rest of my life.” The Lord had other ideas. When my pastor asked me if I might be interested in looking at a job that was going to be available at TCM, I said, “I really like what I’m doing, but tell me about TCM.” The more he talked, the more God put it on my heart…”This is the job, for which HE has been training me.” After a lot of prayer ( by me, my wife, my friends, and the folks at TCM), I can honestly say, “This is it!”
I lead the TCM International North American staff and operation. The office in Indianapolis has functions as the general administration and development arm of TCM International.
My wife, Stephanie and I married in 1983. We have two wonderful children (Jordan , our son, and Jaimeson, our daughter).

Director of Global Outreach
In February 2002 my husband, Jim, and I felt God’s call upon our lives to join the TCM staff team at Haus Edelweiss in Heiligenkreuz, Austria. After serving there for 9 years we returned to our hometown of Indianapolis. It is my privilege to continue serving in TCM’s Indianapolis office. As the Director of Global Outreach I have the opportunity to interact with our many supporters as together we serve, training international disciple makers throughout Europe and Central Asia.
Jim and I have a daughter, Krista, who died in 1997 at the age of 22 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. In addition, we have 7 exchange student children, who are very much a part of our lives. Through them we have 7 grandchildren.
