After completing a three-month internship at TCM's Haus Edelweiss in 1991, my wife Patty and I joined the full-time European staff team in June 1992; only six months after getting married.
I lead the TCM International European staff team and operation. I provide leadership to the TCMI Institute and am a resident faculty member. I also represent TCM among the European constituents.
Family:
My wife Patty and I have been married since 1991. We have three sons (Mark, Jacob, and Taylor) who were all born in Moedling, Austria.
Hometown:
Born in Indianapolis, IN. My U.S. church membership is at East 91st Street Christian Church. My parents, brother, and sister all reside in the Indy area.
Educational background:
B.S., Purdue University; M.Div., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary.
Hobbies:
Reading, biking, hiking, and playing tennis - Most of all, I love to spend time with my wife and three sons.
Best part about my job:
- The opportunity to help prepare European men and women for effective Christian leadership and providing benevolent assistance to Christians in need. - Partnering with and working alongside an international network of TCM staff and volunteers who share a common vision, commitment, and hope for this part of the world.
Interesting things to know about Mike:
- My family and I are members of the Evangelikalen Gemeinde in Baden, Austria. - I was ordained into Christian ministry at East 91st Street Christian Church in 1993. - Prior to going to seminary and joining the TCM staff team, I worked as a construction project manager in the Indianapolis area. - I played tennis on the Lawrence North High School, Vincennes University, and Purdue University - Indianapolis teams.
