TCM exists through the financial support of churches and individuals who share our commitment to prepare men and women for Christian leadership within their own countries and cultures. 

Why Give to TCM?

We believe it is wiser to prepare nationals to lead the church in their own country than to rely on non-national leadership.  Nationals know the language, understand the culture, are often already involved in ministry, and will work for a lifetime in their regions.  

We also believe that providing leadership preparation where the emerging leaders are - in their home countries - is most effective.  The cost would be as much as five times more if such students were to study in the U.S. rather than through TCM.  Additionally, many of them would remain in America and not return to their countries to serve.


Did You Know....?

• The costs of preparing nationals to serve their own people are a fraction of the costs of a typical missions model.  Compare the amount it takes to fully equip a TCM student for life ($16,000) to the annual cost to send a U.S. missionary to a foreign country ($60,000)
• The average length of ministry service of a U.S. missionary overseas is less than four years.  A well equipped indigenous missionary will likely serve his or her own country for a lifetime.
• Europe and Central Asia are made up of many people who have been atheistic for generations.  In addition to strong Muslim influence throughout Central Asia, there is also an increasing number of Muslims migrating west.  These are difficult doors to open, but TCM students and graduates have been faithfully and strategically used by God to share Christ with their own people.
