My name is Michal Weremiejewicz.  I am TCMI National Director in Poland and director of Warsaw Christian Bible Institute – TCMI extended teaching centre in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland.

My connection to TCMI ties back to 1960’s when Gene Dulin (TCMI founder) visited my home church and preached on Isaiah 6.  The message “Whom Shall I Send?  And who will go for us?” preached to me as a boy, motivated me to become God’s servant some time later. After graduation from theological study I used to serve as an associate minister at Warsaw Church for five years until I started the Christian Bible Institute.

Warsaw CBI was established in 1984 in order to assist churches and individual Christians in their spiritual growth and ministry, focusing especially on developing different levels of Christian leadership.  Close and fruitful cooperation between CBI and TCMI was decided a few years later.

Starting from a very little project with annual budget of $300, during past 22 years Warsaw Institute ministry has grown, and over 3,000 men and women have been trained by CBI during that period.  In addition to teaching ministry, 77 titles of textbooks and other Christian literature were published with a total number of over 300,000 copies.

Varieties of teaching programs are offered by CBI to meet various Christian needs.  The oldest and the most popular is Correspondent Bible Study program.  Designed as a basic program for all Christians who grow beyond regular church level teaching and whose desire is to get better biblical knowledge to be more involved in Christian life and Church ministry.  Over 100 students attend this program every year.

The most promising program is M.A. and M.Div. program.  There are 40 students in it and the number is growing every year.  Among the students are:  preachers, youth ministers, prison ministers, church planters, Sunday schools teachers, public school teachers, university professors, scientists, businessmen, elders and deacons.  They are coming from different denominational backgrounds with one common goal – to obtain good, practical Christian training to be more effective in their various ministries to the glory of God.

Ten students graduated already from M.A. program and one from M.Div. program and are involved effectively in various ministries.

384 men and women took part in different Warsaw CBI training programs during 2006.

Thanks to TCMI, the ministry of Warsaw CBI is continuing and growing, impacting the ministry of hundreds and thousands of Christian men and women across the country of Poland.

There is heard response of many when God is asking even today:  “Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?” And their response is:  “Here we are.  Send us”!
