Family matters. And so much suffering around the world results from abuse. Oh to have a healthy family in which we are completely loved, accepted, nurtured, and matured. The deepest desire of every heart.

GUIDANCE

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands us to "make disciples of all nations." To grow his family.

But how?

As verse 19 and 20 tell us, we grow His family by immersing them into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And teaching obedience to all that He has commanded us.

So baptizing and teaching gets the job done?

PERSPECTIVE

It's the family plan. And we aren't home yet.

But as we become increasingly immersed into the will of the Father, life of the Son, and fellowship of their Holy Spirit, we do get healthier. There is something wonderful about realizing that we live (and die) for the honor of the family name. A name completely spotless from all eternity to all eternity. Forever and ever.

A name that even now provides us identity, protection, security, and belonging.

STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY

We are becoming part of an eternal family that has a deep and wonderful culture. Where we can love and be loved completely and fully. Where the deepest desires of our hearts are healed and met. Where obedience is more than just compliance. It is becoming our joy. A way to live in harmony with the deepest networking of the universe.

Obedience to all He commands reverses the abuse, dysfunction, neglect, and ignorance of our prideful rebellion. It's the only way to insure that His children are really loved, accepted, nurtured, and matured.

So, may all of us today become more deeply immersed into this home we call the Trinity in order to live out Their values wherever They may lead us! And may our Father's family greatly increase!
